This small sandy beach on the Thames path had to be the jewel in the Crown for the large grassed area next to the Oracle Lakes. It's a very popular spot for all sorts of people. From fishermen to dog walkers. The shallow shore is pretty safe to allow your dog to jump in quiet a long way out into the River Thames after its ball. If you paddle a short distance into the river you can dig up loads of large fresh water muscles too. There is a park bench and bin nearby where you can watch the river, boats, people, geese and swans go by. There are a few large trees nearby where you can get some shade too. A lovely tranquil place for peace & quiet & to meditate.
